Treasure island in Jackson

I mentioned a while back that a friend of mine is starring as Long John Silver in Treasure Island in a theater company in Jackson. (I'm posting from my iPod ATM, so looking up the address to the theater company's web page would be a pain in the butt, but google 'treasure island jackson' and you'll get the link.) Sam and I will be going tonight, along with Erik, who is going to be a new player starting next week. Ed (my friend who is starring) is getting amazing reviews, something that doesn't surprise me, as he is an excellent actor and an excellent RPer, as well. Did I mention he games? Did I mention he LARPs? Does everyone see my cleeeeeeever plan?

Anyway, if anyone wants to meet Erik, or see Ed be an awesome pirate, or just partake of epic pirate theater, you're welcome to join us. The play starts at eight something or other, but the gates open at 6:30, and people come early and bring picnics and socialize. (It's an outdoor stage.) It's possible we might also be meeting with other gamer friends from Davis, who are also awesome.

Admission, sadly, isn't free, but it's around the cost of going to see a movie -- less, if you factor in that you can bring your own food.
