Saturday's Game
Our address is: 14 Sherwill Ct. Sacramento CA, 95823
Easiest way to get here is to go Hwy 99 south, head west on Cosumnes, after the highway it's your first left, second right, then about two miles down to Gibbs, left on Gibbs, three blocks to the end of the street, left onto Maple Hall, then second left onto Sherwill Ct.
Last house on the right.
Michelle and I will be home all day on Saturday, so anyone who plans to come to the ball can show up early if they like, but I suppose that game will start around 5. Cats will be not be a factor tonight as they will be kept in a separate room all night. We shall try to be as good a host as Dave has been, but we lack his practice, so bear with us please.

It had been previously mentioned that seating might be an issue. Is that still the case, and should people still plan to bring a chair or two with them?

That would be nice. We still have an amount of furniture appropriate to an apartment, not a house, so there's not a lot of seating.

Some folding chairs for outside would be nice, especially for smokers. And an ashtray. We don't actually own one of those.

That about covers it. We'll have music, and snacks, and a fairly large room to play in, plus a patio out back.

I'll probably bring a case of soda or something along those lines to contribute to the evening.

Re: Saturday's Game
So y'all heard of Murphy's Law? Yeah, that. Guess what? I've got a cold.
I talked to Jason, and he still wants to do the ball, and Sam is down for putting in the effort to be ready, but I wanted to warn you all that you might be in for The Germiness.
It actually shouldn't be that bad. Sam had this cold on Monday, and I didn't even realize he was sick, although I do tend to get sicker than he does (it runs in my family). I started getting sick on Tuesday, and at this point, I've moved from feeling like I'm going to die -- or want to, at the very least -- to wavering between feeling almost fine and feeling like I'm going to die. So probably I'll be fine by Saturday, or close enough to it that it doesn't matter one way or the other. But there might still be The Germiness lingering in the house.
Also, I won't be able to cook anything unless I'm sure that I'm not going to get germs in it, so nothing today, and I don't know about tomorrow. Which sucks, because I had grand plans. We're going to have to do this another time when I can realize them fully. We'll try and pick up some things at CostCo or something, but again, if there's something you'd really like to have, it'd be wisest to bring it along.
Anyway, that's the deal. If the germ thing is a big deal to anyone, please let me know. I will put my foot down and insist that the ball get moved if a lot of you aren't comfortable with entering a House of Disease. I'd feel awful pressuring anyone who wasn't comfortable with that into it, especially if then they got sick.

I'm not afraid of no cold, hell I don't remember the last time I was what "I" would consider sick.
