This topic will consist of announcements to the kindred population of Sacramento by the Baroness or other authorized members of the city.

Just as a quick refresher, for many of you are new here and may not know how we handle the Traditions in Sacramento.


The Masquerade:Thou shalt not reveal thy true nature to those not of the Blood. Doing so shall renounce thy claims of Blood.

Do not reveal what you are to mortals. If someone witnesses you breaching this Tradition, you must either a) wipe their memory, b) silence witnesses by any means necessary without furthering the breach, or c) use influence to quash stories and rumors. If you feel you may have breached, cover it as soon as possible and/or seek some manner of covering the breach. Failure to cover the breach will result in a Blood Hunt.

Domain: Thy Domain is thy own concern. All others owe thee respect while in it. None may challenge thy word in thy Domain.

Your Domain is your concern as a clan or as a single person if you have been awarded Domain for deeds done. All others must show you respect while in your Domain. This means that Brujah cannot feed in Ravnos Domain, et cetera. A clan or person has the right of Destruction within the confines of their Domain. Causing breaches of Masquerade, hunting, destruction of property - these actions can bring about the right. Like the earlier example, the Ravnos would have right of Destruction on any Brujah she finds in her Domain feeding on her kine.

Progeny:Thou shalt sire another only with permission of thine Elder. If thou createst another without thine Elder's leave, both thou and thy progeny shall be slain.

Do not create childer without permission from the Baroness. If you are found to have created progeny without permission, both the childer's and your lives are forfeit. If I'm feeling saucy, I may let the childer live to be placed under another's Accounting, as it's not their fault they were created, it's yours.

Accounting:Those thou create are thine own childer. Until thy progeny shall be released, thou shalt command them in all things. Their sins are thine to endure.

Any childer you create are yours until released from the Accounting. A childe must be fully aware of the Traditions and able to interpret their usage, as well as be able to respect And navigate the rules of prestation before they can be presented to the city for Acknowledgment. Any breach of Tradition reflects on the sire, and punishments will be dealt to the sire for poor teaching. This Tradition is also used as a form of punishment by the Baroness as a mercy for one who I deem to be worthy of a second chance. The offending kindred can be placed under the Accounting of the ranking elder of their clan until I decide to release them and restore all previous status to them.

Hospitality:Honor one another's Domain. When thou comest to a foreign city, thou shalt present thyself to the one who ruleth there. Without the Word of Acceptance, thou art nothing.

If you are in another's Domain, you must respect all within it and cause no breach of Masquerade, destruction of property, or feed on their kine. If you are not acknowledged and not currently under the Accounting of an acknowledged member of the city, you have absolutely no right to be in the city and are subject to any and all actions taken against you. To be without Acknowledgment forfeits all rights.

Destruction:Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy Kind. The Right of Destruction belongeth only to thine Elder. Only the eldest among thee shall call the Blood Hunt.

Kill an Acknowledged member of the city, or childer under the Accounting of an Acknowledged member of the city, and suffer the consequences. If an ambassador is present in the city from another faction, and is in talks with the Baroness on matters of peace, they are exempt from attack until they breach any of the Traditions while on their peace mission. Such persons will be represented with the status trait of Diplomat until they leave the Domain of the Barony of Greater Sacramento.
