House Rules
This is our current list of house rules that modify the current rules. If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to contact the story teller or post a topic in the OOC General forum.
1. 2 EP will awarded after every game session. If you help clean up after game you will be awarded 1 extra EP.
2. Anyone that donates paper or item cards on the first session of a month will be awarded an additional 1 ep, that session only, as a thank you for easing our paper expenses.
3. Character sheets will be administered by the Story Teller, or Story Teller assistant. All sheets will be returned to the Story Tellers at the end of the game session. These character sheets will be updated, and re-printed at the next game. Make a note on your character sheet before turning it in, if you want the original copy returned to you next session.
4. Item cards will be required for items to be used in game. Please have all item cards approved by the Story Teller. The story teller is not obligated to replace a lost item card.
5. Anyone who is the victim of a Giovanni soul pop can burn a temporary willpower on the next round to return to his/her body. Of course, if you can't burn any willpower...
6. Characters that have the disciplines such as Imprint (elder Potence) or Feral claws can destroy their opponent with wins on 3 successive physical challenges. Disciplines that mitigate damage still apply. Only select physical disciplines are able to accomplish this.
7. Opponents that are staked or in torpor can be finished off the next round provided the attacker has a reasonable weapon for accomplishing the task. Example...Machete, Feral Claws, Fire, Chain Saw etc. This is considered a coup de gras.
8. Players that lose a character or decide to shelve their current character (requires ST approval) will receive one half of the last characters EP value above and beyond character creation points. All follow on characters can be no lower than 9th generation at creation.
9. The in character portion of this forum is for in character use. Although difficult, if a character has the appropriate skills, he/she may contact the story teller and attempt to gain information from protected In-character sections of the forum. The information obtained from this method will be controlled by the story teller and may not provide the full context of the conversation involved. Furthermore...each time this occurs the story teller will post in the In character General section warning all the inhabitants of the city that an unknown person has breached the forums security. This post will not name the aggressor or the victim involved.
10. Two people in the city at any one time can have a lvl 4 influence. Only one can have lvl 5. If a character is of elder generation, they may begin raising their influence above 5, and can proceed as high as 10. Influence is not a 1 for 1 ep cost. To advance your influence you spend your experience in the following manner. Buying a level 1 costs only 1 ep. If you wish to then move up to level 2 it costs you two more points, and so on. So for example. to go from nothing to level 5 will cost you a total of 15 ep.
11. Character Advancement. Disciplines and Skills, may be advanced at a rate of one level per Discipline/skill a week. To a Maximum of 4 different Disciplines/skills a week. A character only has so much time during a given week to train. However, the good news is, you can raise your attributes and Influences as fast as you can afford the exp cost. Please be honest, if the Assistant Story Teller has made a mistake with your character sheet please inform her.
