So as opposed to either just not going to the elder council meetings, as attendance is not a requirement, or simply stating your mind on the situation and leaving if the meeting went on longer then your desire or you felt inconvenienced you in some way, you would use any number of means at your disposal to end an assembly of free vampires chosen to act on there clan's behalf?

Did you guys really get anything done that couldn't have been gotten done in one hour, or was it the same three or four people talking on and on and on?

I mean, if you really used all of that time constructively, if it wasn't all listening to a couple of people pontificate or restate the same arguments over and over, then I apologize. But my experience with meetings, especially with the kinds of pompus blowhards that we vampires tend to turn into present, will fill up whatever time is allotted to them.

We discussed if the we should carry out removing the previous Harpy, what we as a whole wanted the position to represent and carry out within the domain. Then based off that we determined who within the city we felt capable to handling the task, interviewed them and then made our final decision regarding who would be our new Harpy. While it could have been handled in less time decisions such as those should not be rushed for the sake of fitting things into a convenient time table.

I agree that it is perferable to be a warrior instead of dealing with politics Indy. But not making your input known adds to the problem not solve it. I realize I'm not the best when it come to backroom deals and the political games we Vampires seem to "enjoy". But even I realize that the more the city bickers and fights itself the easier we make it on our enemy's to invade in one form or another. I do know that what we all want in this city is worth fighting for. If you polled every one of us you would get different approaches and ways to get there but we all want this city to stay independent and free of all outside influences. Hell I may not have the answers but even I can see that. We need to get unified not divided. How we do that is debatable but we need to do it or this city will fail.
